Melco AS/60 6 Ton Axle Stand

A high-lift 6-tonne commercial axle stand for high-level support work, with a working height of 1450–1750mm (57–69 in).

Before lifting: position and secure the vehicle in accordance with the lifting equipment and vehicle manufacturer's instructions. Apply the parking brake, select Park or a suitable gear as appropriate, and chock wheels where the lifting arrangement permits and requires it. Raise the vehicle using suitable lifting equipment. Place matched stands only at the vehicle manufacturer's approved support points, set each genuine load pin fully through the required hole, and transfer the load carefully onto the stands. Keep the load vertical and centred on each crutch. Never work beneath a vehicle that is not safely supported.

Inspect before every use: check the correct Melco pin is fitted and straight, the crutch is true and not spread, holes are not elongated, the tube and legs are not bent and welds are sound. Never substitute the load pin. Do not exceed the marked SWL. Replace worn or damaged pins, chains or crutches with the correct Melco spare. Maintain a regular inspection regime appropriate to the use and working environment.
