Melco Replacement Flat Top Crutch for Axle Stands

The flat top crutch is the wide, modern Melco head — straight vertical walls and a broad flat seat made to sit under the flat subframe of a heavy commercial vehicle. It is the head fitted to the bigger stands from the AS/40 up, and the most popular by volume.

The crutch is a load-bearing, safety-critical part and one of the key inspection points on a stand. If yours is bent, cracked or worn at the seat, fit the correct Melco replacement to bring the stand back to conformity. Forged and finished in Sheffield from the correct grade and thickness of structural steel (144mm channel).
