Melco AS/60/HD 7.5 Ton Axle Stand

Single or pair? Axle stands must be used in matched pairs. Choose Single for one stand or Pair for two — the Pair price is for both stands.

The heavy-duty high-lift stand - extra welds and a doubled centre tube for a bigger pin. Rated at 7.5 tonnes (rather than 8) to allow for the extra leg length under load. Supplied with wheels and a handle to assist movement around the workshop. Working height 1450-1750mm (57-69 in).

Raise the vehicle using suitable lifting equipment. Secure the vehicle against movement before lifting: apply the parking brake, select Park or a suitable gear as appropriate, and chock the wheels that remain on the ground. Place matched stands at the vehicle manufacturer's approved support points on level, clean, dry ground, set the pin fully through the required hole and lower the vehicle carefully onto the stands. Always use matched pairs and apply load vertically through the centre of the crutch.

Inspect before every use: correct Melco pin fitted and straight, crutch top true and not spread, holes not elongated, tube straight, legs not bent, welds sound. Never substitute the load pin. Do not exceed the marked SWL. Replace worn pins/chains or crutches with the correct Melco spare. Follow the operating instructions supplied with the stand and maintain a regular inspection regime appropriate to the use and working environment.
