Melco TTL/6 Super Single Tyre Lever – 39″ (990mm)

The longest lever we make, at 39″. Known as the Goodyear Super Single pattern: an exaggerated TTL/1 with a much more pronounced looped lug at one end and a rounded, pipped flat end at the other. Forged in Sheffield on 22mm alloy steel bar and heat treated. Built for a tougher bead and heavier, more industrial and agricultural tyres where you want that extra leverage — though many fitters still reach for the lighter TTL/1 or TTL/5 for all-day work.

Use where a tough bead needs maximum leverage. Set the looped lug as your fulcrum and lever the bead over.

Effectively maintenance-free. Daily use keeps it in condition; if it is left standing, wipe it down with an oily cloth to keep rust off. Nothing needs sharpening. Check for any snags or sharp edges that could tear a tyre, and never weld anything to the lever - the heat alters the steel.
