A general-purpose tubeless lever on the Halte / Michelin pattern, forged in Sheffield from rectangular spring steel bar with radius-edged corners so it will not dint a wheel. One end is a flat angled taper; the other carries two lips forming a channel to grip under the bead. It is a bit springier than a TTL/1 and does a very similar job. The genuine Halte lever costs perhaps twice as much - ours is the same pattern for less.
Available in two lengths: the standard 34in (870mm) and a shorter 30in (780mm) version - the "S" is for short - for tighter working room. Both share the same Halte pattern, springy rectangular section and wheel-friendly rounded edges, with the same lipped and tapered ends; choose your length above.
Pair it with a TTL/1 or TTL/5. Break and hold the bead, then run the TTL/4 round the rim, using the lipped end to grip under the bead.

Effectively maintenance-free. Daily use keeps it in condition; if it is left standing, wipe it down with an oily cloth to keep rust off. Nothing needs sharpening. Check for any snags or sharp edges that could tear a tyre, and never weld anything to the lever - the heat alters the steel.
