Melco AS/50/WHEELS Pair of 6 Ton Axle Stands with Wheels

Matched pair of AS/50 6-tonne axle stands fitted with casters and a handle so they can be tipped and wheeled rather than lifted. Each stand has a safe working load (SWL) of 6 tonnes. Working height 700-1250mm (28-49 in).

Raise the vehicle using suitable lifting equipment. Secure the vehicle against movement before lifting: apply the parking brake, select Park or a suitable gear as appropriate, and chock the wheels that remain on the ground. Place the matched stands at the vehicle manufacturer's approved support points on level, clean, dry ground, set each pin fully through the required hole and lower the vehicle carefully onto the stands. Apply load vertically through the centre of each crutch.

Commercial garages, body shops, workshops, mobile and on-site repairers; also used on rail production lines.

Inspect before every use: correct Melco pins fitted and straight, crutch tops true and not spread, holes not elongated, tubes straight, legs not bent, welds sound. Never substitute the load pins. Do not exceed the marked SWL of either stand. Replace worn pins/chains or crutches with the correct Melco spare. Follow the operating instructions supplied with the stands and maintain a regular inspection regime appropriate to the use and working environment.
