A single-ended spoon lever with a forged loop handle for soft-wall tyre work – from the smallest wheels (wheelbarrows, ride-on mowers, go-karts, small motorcycles) up to car tyres depending on size. Both ends are forged in Sheffield and the handle is formed into a loop, comfortable to grip and easy to hang on the toolboard. A proven pattern with not much to go wrong.
Break the bead first if the wall is stubborn, then work the spoon end between tyre and rim and lift the rim out of the tyre.

Effectively maintenance-free. Daily use keeps it in condition; if it is left standing, wipe it down with an oily cloth to keep rust off. Nothing needs sharpening. Check for any snags or sharp edges that could tear a tyre, and never weld anything to the lever - the heat alters the steel.
